Started by flying from Seoul Korea, through Tokyo Japan, Seattle WA, Chicago IL, landing in Norfolk VA... stayed at a friends place which ended up being more of a college party house, so not much sleep there! Then drove to Western North Carolina which is where I'm currently at... tomorrow I start the next leg of my journey, heading towards Minneapolis MN, and then from there I'll head to Mount Rushmore, then off to Yellowstone Nation Park, then to Crater Lake in Oregon, and finally ending up in Tacoma Washington.
Geez... it's like thousands of miles of driving... Coast to Coast. The furthest west I've ever been is Texas so it'll be interesting what the other side is like. Looking forward to seeing my new home in Washington. er... although I have no clue where I'll be staying yet.
hmmm, yeah I stopped working on my story for now... I had written a little more but I'm ironing out some details in the plot first and I'm waiting to write more until I'm settled in my new place. So in the time between I've just been photoshopping random pictures.
I definately miss Korea already, was one of the best years of my life! I had so much fun! And just before I left me and some friends heard about an anime convention and decided to go... unfortunately just before that I lost my camera!! I was really really really sad. I'm pretty sure it ended up in a cab somewhere in Suwon.
Oh well. At least it gave me an excuse to buy a DSLR. I ended up with a Samsung GX10... not super high quality, but I figured it would be good enough to learn on and see how it goes. I'm happy with it so far. I really need to take some photography classes once I get settled into WA though cause I'm realizing theres soooo much I don't know. SO, the photos I post up from here on out will be me experimenting with my new camera and attempting to make progressively better pictures. er... and in the process continuing to tackle the monster that is known as Photoshop.
so any suggestions or tips on how to improve my photography, or pointing out newb mistakes I make are much appreciated!
Hopefully in the coming weeks I'll get some great shots from the national parks I'll be going through, and if I'm lucky my car will survive the absurdly long trip unscathed!
Okay that's the super long update of what and how I've been doing. Hopefully I'll be able to find internets on the road everyone once in awhile!

How are you doing?
